3D Print Stack should work for everyone who uses it, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Every page has a “Skip to content” link and a visible outline on whatever has keyboard focus.
- Form fields have labels, and error messages are read out with the field they belong to.
- Text colours are chosen to meet the WCAG contrast ratio in every theme.
- Animations stop if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Links in running text are underlined, so they don’t rely on colour alone.
- Confirmation and error messages at the top of the page are announced to screen readers.
The main screens have been checked with automated accessibility testing.
Known limitations
Automated testing doesn’t catch everything, and not every screen has been checked by hand with a screen reader yet. Some older screens may still have problems.
Visual tools
Some parts of 3D Print Stack are visual by nature, like filament colour swatches and 3D file previews.
Payments go through Stripe’s own checkout and billing pages, which Stripe is responsible for.
Tell us about a problem
